RNN Architects, Inc. partnered with SynEnergy to develop construction drawings set for a complete mechanical and electrical engineering re-design. Challenges included sustaining the steam system operation on campus during the construction period, management of disruptive noise during hours of operation, coordination of construction scheduling for the delivery of equipment by crane erection.  Key actions included advanced reviews and corrections of existing, as-built architectural elements and mechanical systems, advising on curtain wall disassembly, storage, and reassembly in accordance with the work progress/schedule, complex reattachment of steam, electrical, and interior features, and finishes.
