Poplar Place Apartments

Poplar Place is a 30 unit, three story, market-rate, multifamily housing development The project included demolition of an existing vacated church and associated remediation. The structure is a 20,500 SF, wood frame building of Type V-A construction.  An occupiable rooftop deck is included that will encompass roughly 25% of the rooftop. The common amenities on the ground level include a small lobby with mail, an exercise room, and a covered and secured bike storage area with space. Support spaces include a water entry room, IT closet and janitors closet.  The balance of the space is composed of dwelling units and circulation. Vertical circulation consists of two wood structured stair cores and a Concrete Masonry Unit (CMU) constructed, stretcher-compliant; traction elevator that will service the three floors and the rooftop deck.  A 3-bin trash/recycle enclosure is located in the site’s parking lot; additional bike parking is located in the R.O.W.
